The reason I'm not going to Charlton next season

OK more a case of not as often as I'd like as I won't have the time, but my son Benjamin was born on Sunday weighing 7lb 2oz. He already has Charlton bibs and baby grows from his Nanna and Grandad so we now have another addition to the Addicks faithful.

I can't wait until he is old enough to take him to a game. Although I'd settle from some sleep.

Congrats. My little one was born in November and I haven't been this season. It's as much as I can do to get out for reffing let alone Charlton. They really do take up your time and when you do have time you just want to sleep....

none of us understand what's going on when we play at home anyway so you may as well bring him tomorrow.

    congrats.

Congrats to you and all the family Madz.

I started going o the Valley in 1960 with my Dad, now go with my youngest son, who is 29. Keep the Charlton flag flying through the generations.

Saw the thread title and was going to post "see ya then" - but I guess that says more about me than the OP.

Many congratulations Madz. They can be annoying, challenging and downright costly at times, but nothing beats that bond you have and the love you feel for your own kids. Enjoy the rollercoaster!
  • Nice one Madz , congratulations!
  • Can't accept your excuse. One of those Bjorn baby pouches for Daddy Madz and a pair of kiddie headphones for Benjamin and you'll be set. And Mum will be glad of the peace of having you both out of her hair for 4 hours (insert smiley here).

    Nonsense aside, congrats!

Congrats - got a 2 year old boy and another boy due on the 21st.

I can recommend '9 goals went past Perry' as a lullaby to help the little fella sleep.

Congratulations, brainwashing your kid works, start early and be relentless. iphone and lots of sweets help from ages 4-7, attend cafc christmas party at age 7, then you're golden.

Congrats, my eldest is a Ben(jamin) as well (Whisper it shhhhh .. he's ex West Ham juniors and a hammers fan)
  • Congrats Madz, always great to hear there's another Addick making their way along the conveyor belt to a lifelong support of CAFC...poor little thing.

Congratulations Madz. We've sadly lost a few stalwarts this season, so it's nice to hear some people are working on the next generation.
