The programme sellers were all gone at five to three, having presumably sold out what they had to sell. So no.PL54 said:Is it possible the mag is detracting from matchday programme sales ?
no / don't know / don't care / hope so
The sellers that I saw on Saturday put up pitch close to the established programme stands near the tunnell.
Also, can anyone just sell stuff from the street or does it need a licence etc ?0 -
I would imagine the Internet is far worse for programme sales than VOTV.
Got my copy last week off a young lad in the Lib and will be reading it on the way to Oakwell tomorrow.0 -

Worse than Victorian child labour. Who allows their child to sell such stuff on the street?LenGlover said:0 -

Thanks all, two days from order to Northamptonshire not to shabby.0

I expect Airman is using unpaid interns to write the articles and sell the publication too! It's outrageous exploitation of the working classes ;-)se9addick said:

Good to see Prothero responding to the Voice editorial by publishing an article in the programme about the senior staff. Black mark for Matt Wright, though, as it seems he couldn't find a single picture of any of them to illustrate it . . .0

AB - black mark also for HI's 5thC about playing teams on different grounds that never mentioned a certain match against Leeds at St Andrews.
I saw Shirty in the Bury dugout writing a complaint letter to send in for the next issue.0 -
to be fair, it was a reasonable article ... however I am aware we still do not know the full storyAirman Brown said:Good to see Prothero responding to the Voice editorial by publishing an article in the programme about the senior staff. as for pics ... well, sounds like they are never around long enough for one to be taken ;-)0 -
There are some interesting lines in the article, rather at odds with the truth, but I'm not going to pick holes in it. I think it's amusing enough that PTP jumped to it when poked by the Voice.stonemuse said:

The point that would scream out to any editor - and Matt will think the same I am absolutely certain - is that it's very odd indeed not to illustrate such a piece with pictures of at least some of the subjects.
It's a decision that could only have been taken by a senior manager with no interest in or grasp of editorial values, and presumably is because he doesn't want them to be recognisable to supporters, which is bizarre of itself.0 -
Airman - I gather your rag is nearly as good as Supporters Trust News. Could you remind me how to get a copy by post ?0
-
tsk... CAS Trust News, aka TNT0
-
Got mine in the post, only ordered it the day before I think. Two at most. Top stuff!0
