Evina - Stay - need a good replacement
Waggy - Go - for his own benefit
    Kerkar - Go
    Dervite - Stay
    Taylor - Stay
Haynes - Go - injury prone
BWP - Go - love him and leave him
Fuller - Go injury prone and getting on
Cort - Go - I think we need a better replacement
Harriott - Stay - no brainer
Sullivan - Go - re Waggy
Hughes - Stay - 6 month contract, then in Jan, player coach contract then a coach contract

Every player who was associated to Charlton last season would go with my best wishes including those who didn't play much but as we have found out this season, the championship is a whole different ball game.

Lets hope contract discussions are on going or we could see Harriot and Evina going too. Harriot would be for a development fee, but Evina will be free as we have not developed him. Having had a taste of first team action and performed well, he may be difficult to keep if another Championship team come in offering 1st choice role, or even a top third tier team.

The same question six weeks ago would have seen Hughes and Dervite as definite "go's" for most.

    Very true.

I'd love to see Fuller stay. He's an enigma, old and injury prone, but on his day there is no better player in the division. Everyone has got to love having a player like that.

Def keep Fuller if there is anyway we can afford him - different class, and him and Yann are both intelligent players - saw evidence v Leeds of them really getting on the same wavelength, and assume this continued on Sat. Impossible for defenders to cope with.

    Smith, Azeez and some signings.

What unproven youngsters and phantom money?
Harriott, Jenkinson and Solly were all unproven at one point.

I've only been to one league game this year due to university, so with my limited real knowledge of the squad i'll give it a go!

    Stay
Andrew Hughes - Pay as you Play - Player Coach
Ricardo Fuller - 1 year / Pay as you Play
Danny Haynes - 1 year / Pay as you Play
    Cedric Evina - 2 years
    Callum Hariott - 3 years
    Azeez - 1 year
    Waggy - 2 years
    Dervite - 2 years

    Plus others............

    Go
Matt Taylor (A great league 1 defender, but age is against him!) (Would like to see him stay maybe as a coach?)
Bradley Wright (I really thought he would step up this year!)
    Salim Kerkar
    John Sullivan
    Yado Mambo
    Leon Cort
    Michael Smith

    Sell
    Danny Green - 250K?
    Dale Stephens - 1/1.5m?
    Jordan Cook - nominal?
Danny Hollands - 350k? (Was my favourite player last season, what happened?)

I think yado mambo will get a new contract and push for a first team place next season. How's he been doing?

    BWP- Go
    Fuller- Stay

The problem I have with a mass clear out (of players, so no Diocalm jokes) is the effect on the squad togetherness and morale. That said CP's choice of character is good and is unlikely to bring in any bad apples so up to six out as follows irrespective of whether out of contract or not Sullivan, Kerkar, Cook, Hollands, and sadly BWP, Green or Waggy

Didn't seem to matter last season with mass clearout.....

Very true but what we have now is very special group of players who give everything for one another and I'd hate to see that lost?

Understood. I don't think it will happen because of the very point you are making, and the team spirit SCP has instilled in our addicks. If wages/length of contract not much greater elsewhere, then the majority of out of contract players will stay imo. Harriott worries me though. I know the club wouldn't play him if he wasn't good enough, but I think they have misjudged his potential we are now all seeing with our own eyes, and with that contract negotiations not as progressive. His agent would have been shopping him around from January ready for next season if the club were stalling on new contract. Hopefully a Prem club are NOT interested...I hope. SCP please prove me wrong, and that all is cushtee

Plus Wiggy needs a new extended contract, as does Morro and Hamer

If we can afford to keep Fuller we really should I think. But if his wages inhibit our options to bring new players in, it could be an issue. It all really depends on what backing Chrissy gets.

    dervitte - go
    Sullivan - go
    green - go
    kerkar - go
    bwp - go
    hollands - go

all not quite good enough to hold down a squad place

    fuller - ?
    Haynes - ?
    waggy - ?
    taylor - ?

Depends on whether we have funds to get better

    Keep all the rest.

is this who u think will leave or who u want to because theres a few players there i dont think will leave and i dont think many will want to i cant see dervite, cort and taylor going and probably just one of them. I also would like to see hughes stay as well as haynes who would be class if not for injurys. the rest of them not too big a deal perhaps fuller but dont think hes done enough this season even if there have been some highlights of quality such as his performance against birmingham.

"quality such as his performance against birmingham."

Against Bolton, Leeds and Barnsley he was a class act by all accounts. He's earned another contract in my eyes. Classy player.

Crystal Palace he was unplayable until we decided to defend. I think the decision is around money and whether we can get enough games out of him next year. Certainly a player that is better to have than not have all things being equal.

surprised so many writing off Dervite. Think he's a decent CH, crap in midfield though.

Was poor at Watford, had a mare 1st half home to Bolton but was my MOM outfield player at Brighton and followed this up with good displays v Leeds and Barnsley. Thought he did ok at Leeds and Palarse away in midfield. Maybe realises he is playing for a longer contract which I'd be happy with.

Has haynes fallen out with scp or injured again? Honestly feel he is a bad egg to have around the club

any reason for this ludicrous comment?

I cant believe anyone would let Cedric Evina go after the trouble we had filling in at left back! All about opinions I suppose.

Harriott was really getting praised on Five Live last night. No doubt he's been noticed by a few other clubs. Concerned he's out of contract in the summer. Need to tie him down to a new one NOW.
