That's right. As a Charlton fan I'm the strange one reading comments on a Charlton forum.

    I didn't say that now did I?

  • Piggy I thought of you yesterday as the train went past chapel town, sorry for being so hostile towards you in the past.

  • I think piggy pal that at home it became a state of mind and the same away

We were not convinced the result would come at home

I don't live in Chapletown, and It's not a hole, I live In Ecclesfield which is near there though, We don't have many South London Gangster wannabes around here much though lol.

Didn't anyone stop off in Chap for a drink then?

Stayed in Chapletown at the Norfolk Arms. Few beers there then wandered down to the station.

Tried to get into The Royal Oak but is was closed so had a couple in the pub over the road (bit of an army pub with Leeds fans in it).

On the way back we stopped at another pub further up the road towards the Norfolk that had 8 real ales on. Bit packed, but welcoming locals and enjoyed a few different sherberts.

Why oh why to Northern pubs put those frothing devices on their beer taps?

Didn't know the Royal Oak was shut mate, hope you enjoyed it anyway, there are better pubs but with you playing Barnsley and wanting a drink with the station nearby I thought it was a good shout.

We do it a lot as pubs in Barnsley I feel are very cliquey when just going on a night out imo, they also don't like Sheffielders and with our different accents it isn't worth the hassle, like I said they are a strange bunch.

Good day out for you I take it ;)

Sparklers ... just ask them to take it off, only takes 2 seconds .... you'll probably get a funny look but they do it.

Asking for tap water was bad enough. Thought she was going to call the police. Ask for tap water with sparkler off for added amusement.

Personally, happy that piggy posts here. He clearly has a soft spot for us and to be honest a few of us don't mind Wednesday either. It is a friendly rivalry. I hope they stay up and am confident they will.

As for our home form, Chrissy has tried everything and what seems to have made a difference in the last couple of games is the directness of Harriott and the experience of Hughes. The balance and attacking intent of the team has definitely gone up a few notches.
