    I agree. I think we have effectively sent Barnsley down. Wolves are looking nailed on for the third slot.

    The thing is, Blackburn are a club in crisis and if they lose their next game, they could still go on a losing run.

    Given up trying to predict. I thought Peterborough were gone, now they're about 10 unbeaten. I thought Wolves looked doomed, but now they've won 4 out of 6. I thought Blackburn looked doomed but they've just won 2 on the spin.

    All i do know is that the last day game between Huddersfield and Barnsley will be very tense. Surely one of them will go down.

    Than run of 40 odd games unbeaten seems a longtime ago now doesn't it?

    Gutted about Wolves and Blackburn, wanted them both down!

    Doesn't matter, they'll drop next season anyway more than likely.

    If they are this shite in their first season back in the CCC then how bad will they be next year?

    A point on Saturday makes us mathematically safe.
    Think we should go all out for a win as Wolves if they stay up will be a promotion rival next season, whereas Hudds and Barnsley won't be.

    As long as Peterborough don't go down, i don't really care. Good away day, fairly local, terracing too. Much rather a northern club dropped instead of them.

    Hope both Brentford and Bournemouth come up as well.

    Bristol are down, I would say Barnsley as they have lost the plot at the wrong time and probably the Udders, would have loved it if it had been The Wendies instead and shut them up!

    Barnsley - Everything that could go wrong is going wrong.
    Burnley - 2 wins in 15 games (us and Bristol City), they've lost Charlie Austin for the remaining games (appendix) and a tricky run in (Cardiff, Wolves and in form Ipswich who've stopped conceding).

    a point puts us on 59, a win for Hud in 22nd place puts them on 54, 6 points remaining to play for. Whereas a win puts us on 61 making us safe, or am I wrong?

    I think even if we lost all 3 remaining games we still can't go down because other sides below us still have to play each other

    For example even if Huddersfield and Barnsley win their next 2 games, they will still both be below us when they play each other on the last day.

    Bristol City are mathematically relegated already after last night's matches.

    I think Chris is probably correct too, certainly in principle, I just don't have the relevant points totals and fixtures to hand to check it out for myself.

    I think this league has been far too crazy this season to assume that the bottom 3 now is how it is going to end.....if Huddersfield beat Millwall in the Saturday lunchtime game that will really shake it up again.
