Lewandowski isnt one of those strikers who was spotted by a big club at an early age - he started in the Polish third division and worked his way up with several clubs.

Lech Poznan sold him 3 years ago

Isn't that where Pawel Abbot ended up?

    Wow - that's some replacement

Pawel Abbott went to Ruch Chorzow - somewhere in Silesia.

"You're getting sacked in the morning!"
  • Lewandowski 4 goals

Can't believe he only cost 4.5 million Euros!

  • 1st man in history to get 4 against Real in a European game

Why should that stop us. Half the German squad aren't German.

    Except Lewandowski is Polish.
yes I know. I was pointing out that not being from a country doesn't stop you playing for them. Germany is an extreme, and successful example of this hence why I used them.

His hat trick goal was something else. Top drawer goals every one of them, you don't stop that penalty either!

Really pleased Dortmund are doing well. A lot to like about how the club is run. Shame they're being broken up however with Bayern swooping in.

I think you will find that the German football team is an example of the country's success - in as much as there are many financial migrants, and maybe the national team represents many Turks and Poles - however this is no different to other countries - such as the England cricket team.

Dortmund's manager is a real character, bit mad but you can imagine the players having the utmost respect for him.

really hope they spank Munich in the final.

How much is Lewandowski worth if Goetze went for 37million euros

Not much actually. As I understand it he only has 1 year of his contract to run abnd has said he won't sign another so he will be a free agent at the end of it

If Bayern sign all the top talent it will be to the detriment of German football
  • Not sure Bayern really need him

When the draw was announced, BBC's sports headline was something along the lines of "Spanish giants kept apart for final". Damn right they have been, you twats.
