Am up here with a Boro mate in the Middlesbrough "Legends Lounge." Fantastic day so far - 9 am from Kings Cross, a pint in a bizarre pub en route from station ( The Lord Byrom ) and thoroughly enjoyable mini-speeches by a couple of the old heros, Stuart Boam and John Hickton. And as much beer and wine as you can drink !
I almost missed the start of the second half. Such is the demoralised state of the locals that no one made a move towards the doors.
A commensurately professional performance by our lads thus far.. We need to hunt down a third goal - the next one will kill it.
More beer and wine await ....
