What a good game this is so far. Three absolutely cracking goals, Villa are 2-1 ahead. Get a look at potential rivals next season folks.
Oh, a quick whinge. I missed the first 10 minutes on TV and had to resort to Radio5Live commentary. Let's ignore the game, all the commentators (Savage and one of the Darrens) were on about was di Canio and how he was performing .. f f s football is about players kicking the ball around and not megalomaniacs standing howling in the 'technical area'

    Would agree about preferring to face Wigan, and I think this finally looks like their year to drop.

    ^^^^^^^ the way they have performed he'll have them back on the coach and out on the astroturf tonight ... against Newcastle they looked so good .. perhaps that is more a reflection of how poor Newcastle have become rather than how di C has worked the miracle

    That 6th means Villa now have a superior goal difference to Newcastle (-22 compared to -23), although Newcastle have scored more goals.
