when was the last time a team got relegated from championship with 50 or more points ????

Just checked this out.....was Leicester in 07/08.....finished 3rd bottom on 52 points.

As far as I can see there has never been 2 of the bottom 3 to gain 50 points or more.

I think Wolves will stay up courtesy of a 1-0 win at the Valley on Saturday.
    It's in me water.

Bristol are down, I would say Barnsley as they have lost the plot at the wrong time and probably the Udders, would have loved it if it had been The Wendies instead and shut them him up!

Millwall went down with 52 points once as well.

Barnsley look gone. I reckon one of Wolves or Blackburn could still accompany them. That's based on the fixture list but anything could happen really.

    Oh, you're back! Surprise!

Seriously though, well done on avoiding the drop at the last minute this season, hope you can get some class into your side and get rid of all the dross for next.

If we had beaten the scum 18-0 they would have been relegated, and we would be in the play- offs.

15-0 would have done it !

if we'd have drawn that home game they'd be down ;-(

It is probably better to miss out on the play offs by 3 points than goal difference. The thing about that Millwall game that sort of got lost was that they were actually pretty flat and rubbish and really just had the luck.
