Bill Kenwright

Kenwright said he will seek guidance from fans as to who they should approach. How refreshing that a Chairman does not assume that he always know best.

The fans ask him to lower his price and lose more money than he already has and he refuses, shock.

Lennon being linked - no, thanks, I like Everton and would like to keep doing so.

    P.S. That isn't a Rangers/Celtic/Sectarian thing, he's just a horrible little git.

I can see them going after a relatively young manager. Moyes wasn't exactly a famous name when they approached him, and he did a very good job indeed. In fact going by that parable of fact that is Wikipedia, his previous record as a manager is not at all dissimilar to a certain Mr Christopher Powell...

Lose more money than he already has? Only two groups of owners in the premier league haven't money in to their clubs, the glazer family are the other ones.

Martinez seems nailed on for Everton but I would not discount Paul Lambert, he does love a new club!

Amazes me that Neil Lennon is even considered. Ok they did well in the champions league this season and he'll probably live off that fluke win over Barca for years but look at his other 'achievements'.

Lost to lower division Ross County in cup semi final
Lost to Hearts in cup semi final
Lost to St Mirren cup semi final
Lost to Kilmarnock in cup final
Lost to Braga in CL qualifiers
Lost to Utrecht in CL qualifiers
Lost to Sion in CL qualifiers

A managerial double act of Nathan and Acworth could win the SPL as manager of Celtic.

Last time I recall fans having a major say about an appointment was Pardew. Although everyone you speak to now was dead against it.

heard on the radio that they are approaching Neil Lennon which I sincerely hope is not true. I have a big soft spot for Everton as they are club that appear to try and do the right thing but I really despise Lennon he is a real nasty piece of work.

That said Bill Kenwright was on TV last night and was very magnanamous towards David Moyes and I thought he seemed a decent bloke so hope he appoints the right man for his club.

Hope to God it's Martinez. He'll introduce more attacking football which will fit well with the players already there. His big problem is he can't identify good defenders, which Everton currently have. Though having said that, Baines is likely off, Distin is 400 years old, Jagielka isn't young and John Heitinga, sadly, is John Heitinga. Oh well, at least if the fans have a say it won't be Mark Hughes

Mackay seems to be tipped - could he walk from Cardiff though or might he think a bad start and I'll be sacked.
