Watching Sunderland v Southampton and have to say the quality of the Watford v Leicester game was much better than this.

Liverpool 1-1, far too too easy for Sturridge

    Norwich 3-0 WBA
    Sunderland 1-0 So'ton

As it stands, Wigan have to win both their games to have a chance of staying up... Lose at Arsenal at the weekend and it's the end for them.

Unless Wigan win at the Emirates in midweek, the only thing to be decided next weekend will be the last Champions League spots... how exciting.... not.

Probably more overseas players in the latter...

    Sunderland 1-1 So'ton

Doesn't change much from a Wigan perspective unless So'ton get another.

Arsenal fifth and have to beat Wigan midweek to get Champions League. My hunch, for what it's worth, is that Wenger will walk if they fail to qualify. Let's face it it's not beyond reason that Wigan who are fighting for their lives can't get something at the Emirates.

    QPR 1-2 Newcastle FT

Says it all about how QPR have been this season. Only Newcastle's second away win out of 19.

“We got an important result today,” he told reporters. “I don’t really care if Arsenal win 4-0 if I’m honest – I’m sure Spurs will – but I only care that our fans enjoy themselves."

“It’s been an unbelievable season and I think it’s been so, so tight because of the financial rewards at stake this year. I will make sure that we are well prepared for next season and thank God we are not in the Europa League again."

No prizes for guessing. Such a tit.
