What a waste Racon has proved. He had real potential I thought to go on and be a decent player. Instead he appears to have been stealing a living last few years0

It was said around both five and ten years ago that league 2 players earned around 50 grand, including bonuses. It appears they're earning less now. Racon was a waste of every penny, he played, he disappeared, and did a Cruyf turn beautifully every twenty games or so. Would have been better with Arter or Josh Wright, players who at least bother to try and tackle. Let's face it if he cost you 500 grand or not, he deserved little more than 50 grand a year.
The Utaka effect. If Guingamp pay you hundreds of pounds a week, why offer him 4-5 times more? It's not even as if he had bargaining power like Utaka's agent would have had with Pompey.0 -
