    Probably luck, but one of the best badges in the league- not too busy, instantly recognisable - why would anybody want to change it!!!!

    May I be the first to agree to such a change? It would after all only be reverting back to what we once had before. I think that the plain sword is much better than having that series of concentric circles around it.

    Robcoll - the badge you have put on your shirt is not exactly new though is it? It is the same badge as what we had in the 70's

    No it not new,although the old one was a different image, not that it matter's,it's about updating the image to a more sleeker,cooler image to improve merch,my opinion is that design does that, the black ring with charlton athletic(incase you did'nt already know that from the sword!!!) is point less, plus it very current off the top of my head teams are decluttering there badge e.g tottenham,liverpool,everton and I think they look cool

    I personally like the sword just on its own but I also like the current version too.
