Like One Direction for example having a change of direction and marketing/branding themselves as The Clash.

This is my analogy for Palace and their fake ultra culture.

Come on Brighton knock 'em out tonight.....

    I think you need to change the title of the thread...swap out authentic (there's nothing authentic about the nigels, except maybe their wooden seats) for fake! And remove reference to The Clash...that should fix it!!

    My apologies, am just trying to find a way to describe how something so utterly crap (ie Palace ultras) passes itself off as something authentic and good....

    Should have just stuck to "they're complete bells"...that works.
