    You are right Len , although the two I was thinking of are much older so with your excellent answer it should have been three sets of brothers.

    It is a straight footie question ThreadKiller not an Ian Botham type Scunthorpe captains query.

    Yes David and John Hollins.The father was an army man and was based at Colwyn Bay when David was born.

    The other example is England and the USA,but has a very strong Scottish connection.

    Indeed they did,I have just checked Wiki,this means there are four examples not two.I stand corrected for the second time in the thread.

    The other answer I was looking for was Gerry and Joe Baker in the 60's.
