    Pritchard, Jackson and yann had a better April than any other of their previous months.

    Thought they would be nominated before solly who was consistent through out.

    Yes, I'd say Pritchard was our player of April. These awards mean nothing. Powell will win because we had the best form - no need for a panel to vote, just look at the form table.

    I think they may take who you play into account as well but I'm not sure.

    either way he should win it easy. And no time left for the curse.

    He's league 1 standard at best.

    In the Football League's statement, Curbishley commented on the decision:
    "It was a great month for Dougie Freedman which resulted in an end-of-season surge for his side, who only just missed out on a Play-Off place.
    "I am sure Bolton will be in contention again next season in what will be his first full season in charge."
    Curbs fiddling the award, as he doesn't want another Charlton manager getting more manager of the month awards than him!
