That's my family for you. They make lots of noise! I had both my parents and both brothers there tonight.

    300. Bloody hell.

1.3 per cent of our away support is from my immediate family. Just wait until my nephews start going. I'm just gonna have to move back to England. If we have 2 children too I may be able to push the percentage to 2.6666 per cent.
  • a real shame only 3/400 odd could make it, but we had some good banter and a great night all the same!

I've just got back to Norwich. Great win, very physical game. Dean WIndass is an utter pr*ck - FACT!! Typical Charlton, two nil with just injury time left. They score and we're cacking it!

We should get some T-Shirts done up - in the style of the 300 (the movie)

A bit like the ones Coventry had after beating Man Ure last week

  • Oh afka,I've just read your comment,we didn't play well collectively in first half, however second half we were first class. As I've said before if I think someone played shite i will say,if they play well credit is due,and the boys did us proud last night. As for who was shite Windass, the referee and the doris who wouldn't serve me a friggin coffee at eleven 0'clock whilst the rest of my passengers were neckin lagers. Now behave yourself!!!!!!!!!

As for Large Adddicks old man I just hope im leading the singing at his age (a true legend),one thing though large he needs to slow down his COME ON CHARLTON'S

If you believe SOS, we must have one of the best away followings in the league!

He's 76 in 2 weeks, has had a triple heart bypass operation and sings his heart out. Sometimes he thinks he's at the opera but otherwise totally shows up many younger fans.

Glad you find him to be a legend northstandsteve! We should roll him out onto the pitch with a mic before an important game. LOL.

Got back from Hull at 1.30 this morning. Getting the three points makes the journey home that much sweeter. Not sure if anyone's interested, but I'm helping one of our Essex based supporters maintain a blog this season. He's planning to go to every game - home and away - for a whole season. We started this blogging lark after the start of the season, but essentially it's a record of the games, and the challenges he faces getting to them. Might be worth checking how he gets on.

Good stuff SX, I'll follow that through the season now that you've pointed it out. All the best with it. I'll pop a link into our links page if you like.

Anyone know if that bloke who got a ball in the face was OK?

In the pre-game warm up Varney pinged a delicious volley just over the bar and it smashed into some old chaps face - he was away for the whole game so I am guessing he was in hospital (though the people he was with stayed for the game)
