Charlton. I've lived here since 1969 but would still always put Charlton first, as I did when we played The Stones in the F A Cup.

Sounds like that is true according to my sources.

The game is on the Saturday of the 2nd Ashes Test Match at Lords. You could offer me £100 to go to Portsmouth and watch a friendly & I'd still not be interested.

I found out this week that Wimbledon has a White Horse, Wycombe style pub for away fans. Interesting.

From the season's end, we're now officially halfway to our first friendly. Official 'cos Seb says so.

Ha, I was told by a Chelsea mate but a quick visit to Football Ground Guide has confirmed it...

Also near to the ground on Cambridge Road going towards Kingston, is the Blue Bar at the Sir Robert Peel Pub. This pub features strippers of the '£1 coin in the glass variety.'

I imagine there'll be a couple of erm, characters about.

Almost, but not quite: four weeks on from Bristol Titty, five weeks to go until Welling. But yes, going remarkably quickly....

As a London Addick these all appeal to me so should be attending Wimbledon, Daggers, Welling (as always) and probably Pompey, Means I can drink in my local pubs before I go to the games which is always a treat when I know of the prices before drinking, anyone know what the pubs around Kingmeadow are like?

Just looked on the Bournemouth website - £55 for season ticket holders, £60 for non-season ticket holders. Bit steep, even if it is Real Madrid.

That can't be right surely??? Just heard it on the radio and thought 'I'll have a bit of that'...but for £60 I'd expect Ronaldo to come and pick me up too.
