England U21s at The Valley?

Have we ever hosted them?
They tend to play games at stadiums of 15K-30K capacities and Ive always thought the Valley would be perfect for an U21 game.
Charge the usual £10 a ticket (£5 kids) and I think we could easily attract a 20,000 gate...
In saying that the u21s dont often play in London....
Does the club approach the FA for this to happen or the other way round?

I went that game. Lloyd Sam and Stacey Long played and I'm pretty sure Long scored. Only opened one or two stands if I remember rightly.0

We can barely attract a 10000 gate for our own cup games.0

Am i right in saying we once hosted a Football league vs Serie B game? Around 1998 before we got promoted?
Danny Mills was only player involved who played for CAFC0 -

Mills wasn't playing for us at the time, he was in the Norwich reserves. Curbs selected the Football League team and obviously used it as an opportunity to have a look at Mills as we signed him not long after.0
