People will give you a list of the benefits / disadvantages of the mobile phone world we live in today, but by far and away the most disappointing thing is that its near on impossible you will ever again hear a blokes name called out over the PA because his missus has gone into birth.
The fact that they knew a birth was so imminent, yet still went off to football, is legend status.0 -
my old man was called over the tannoy when my mum went into labour with me....he waited to watch a penalty first before leaving.0

buckshee missed about 3 or 4 home games last season cos of hangovers/come downs and he lived in charlton then.0
