Just watched maybe 100 taxis and support vehicles set off from outside my office, taking children with serious illnesses to Disneyland Paris.

Well done to each and every one of them. I hope the kids have a cracking time.

I'd love the cabbies to put the meters on and turn to the kids minders open handed at the other end, the look on their face would be hillarious!

That explanes why we were stopped from coming into the wharf this morning on the coach - sat there for ages - assuming they were on their way and they stopped the traffic for them.

Take back everything I said about the workmen!! (was accusing them of reversing another one of their stupid lorries into the site!)

Fantastic thing to do - fair play to em!

It was quite a sight seeing them all come down Pepper Hill on the A2 with their police escort... followed by numerous ambulances and medical support vehicles...

There was one hell of a jam behind them though...

My son is there. Our next door neighbour's son, my son's mate, has been going through cancer, as I have said before, and was picked by the london cabbies to go on this trip and he could take a friend so he has taken my boy. It is a fantastic charity they even get spending money which is amazing - we've turned that down and said to share it amongst the other kids,

They have their own cabbie who will be with them the whole trip even in the parkS ETC. They got a police escort from the Ferry in france all the way to Paris as well.

We were at the Royal Marsden in Sutton this morning at 5.00 and to see some of the kids faces was great so if you ever want to donate to charity this is a cracker.

Good stuff Arf, and great that they get to take a friend.

Perhaps you and GBH will get that opportunity when you both get your licences?
