London to Brighton Nigels

I did the London to Brighton cycle yesterday. There were a load of Nigels at the pub in Tanner's Hill dressed in Palarse kit (not quite full kit wan*ers) but pretty close. They were giving it large to some poor Brighton fan.
When I asked them what was with all the Palarse kit, they said that they were riding down to Brighton because they'd smeared crap in their dressing room in the playoffs. Totally bizarre behaviour joining a charity cycle ride because of a football non-issue.
As I side issue they asked me who I supported and then told me that Palarse would probably spend a single season in the premiership like us!! They seemed stunned when I told them how long we were there.
