    Im guessing they must have been asked about it. It does seem weird for a high profile game to be at the start of the season.

    Maybe if they worked back in the day rather than setting up football teams they'd be better off now. ;-)

    Quite so, but that's recent. Burnley and Blackburn are only a dozen miles apart and have been at each other's throats since the year dot.

    It reminds me of a Saturday afternoon at Selhurst v Liverpool, must have been circa 1987. The Scousers were 0-3 up in 20 mins or something. But Charlton fans always try to look on the bright side, so we started singing: ''We've got jobs, we've got jobs, you ain't, you ain't...''

    The bloke behind me got out a £20 note and started waving it at the away end, shouting at the top of his voice: ''Bet you've never seen one of these before!''

    Dumb. But funny.
