    Cosmos are more of a name than a proper football club these days. I'd expect Orient to turn them over.

    Cosmos have East London connections, a logical one.

    Cosmos have Addicks connections as well - Eddie Firmani managed them during their glory years, anyone in the 35/45 year old bracket must have supported them back in the day, I know I did, proper glory hunting that was and one I trot out when my son waffles on about Barcelona. I wish we were playing them joke team or not

    Cosmos play in the North American Soccer League (NASL) not the MLS. In it's current incarnation the league is only in it's third season and Cosmos are new members this year.

    My second team FC Edmonton play in NASL. It's an inferior league to MLS, probably conference standard or maybe even a bit lower, but still a 100,000 times better than Ice Hockey.

    If you think the refs are bad in the Championship though.....
