As a kid got taken to the 1971 European cup final between Ajax and Panaithinikos -Cruyff was playing. Didn't really appreciate it at the time and wish I could go back now and watch it.

    I bunked in with my mates to Wembley stadium at a "Born in the USA" Bruce Springsteen gig in the early 80's and never watched any of the concert . Idiots !

    Some family friends won a helicopter trip from battersea to Raymond blancs le manior restaurant with lunch thrown in . Their daughter did nt want to go so I went instead but was only about 13 at the time , thought i was going to a beefeater

    School. Start at 9 finish at 3.30 with 3 breaks and sports lessons. Hated it.

    As a kid went to cup winners cup semi final. Man utd v juventus.
    Couldn't fathom how footballing gods like Arthur graham, John gidman, mike duxbury, Graeme Hogg and co didn't beat the no-hope juventus side containing zoff, platini, boniek and Rossi.

    Its only when I was out in me motor without the other half and the smell still occurred. ; )

    I was taken to Norway as a kid to visit grandparents. Saw a lot of the country, I didn't appreciate half of the beauty at the time, I look back on family photos, the scenery is breathtaking.
