Here is my story to this picture. Born in Charlton and Charlton fan for life. During 1992 (pre-Premiership days), the fourth official was appointed from the next level down, namely the Conference league. I officiated at that time, at that level. I asked the appointments official if I could be the 4th official for the first game back at the Valley and surprisingly he agreed (I did give him my two complimentary tickets for the game!). I got to the ground very early and in a very nostalgic mood - it was so good being back. I can recall forgetting my neutrality when Walsh scored: I jumped up and cheered like all supporters. I believe that the person standing in the background, underneath the right arm of Colin Walsh (light-coloured top) could well be me! Happy memories!

While Del and Nic fight it out for the shirt an interesting battle going on for photo. Will NLA fight off the other bidders? Will anyone else come in?

Meanwhile Paulie is keeping his head down "just practicing steps and keeping outta the fights"
