Sad to hear that lead singer of the Nolans Bernie sadly passed away this morning. The song "I'm in the mood for dancing" was one of my guilty pleasures.

    Yes they were, Les (my dad) will be sad to hear of this although I suspect he already knows, I met her a few times along with all the Nolans and they are lovely.

    Very sad, I remember when she went on 'Pop stat to opera star' and she had a stunning voice, and seemed a very nice person

    I did think of you immediately when I heard the news. Drunk in the back of a cab from central London to Charlton deafening the poor driver with our singing of the 'do do doo's'.
