Think it is going to be mad, seeing as the Bexley show is on in Danson Park.
  • Down one of the side roads opposite the ground is where I usually go mate

Get there early is the best one. Any year I've got there much past 2 I've struggled to find anything.

Did both events not occur at the same time last year?

Traffic is chaos already. My car's in the classic car exhibition, took me best part of half an hour to get from the blendon roundabout to the park.

Easy answer: go by train - or walk! Last year I walked from Greenwich, over Shooters Hill and through Oxleas Wood. In the pissing rain, you may remember, but still good. Seven miles.

Avoid the Danson area, either come up from Brampton Rd and park in one of the side roads, or come from Shooters Hill way and park off High St. Either way allow a 5-10 walk like The Valley

    Impressive, did you walk back?

No! - walked through Danson Park and copped two pubs in Bexleyheath: 'Polly Clean Stairs' (Royal Oak), and Robin Hood & Little John - the latter is the better one. Caught the bus back to Blackheath from Bexleyheath Broadway.

  • One of the side roads opposite but get there early and get your rear mirrors polished because it's a bit of a squeeze in those spaces!

Don't forget the CL secret handshake if you go into the pub.

    Hope not in that order.

After the game - I noticed last year that Bexleyheath Broadway is like a meat market on a Saturday eve: wall-to-wall crumpet, Sharon and Chardonnay teetering along on eight-inch stilettos. Too young for me, though: made me feel old.

    No , tube third .
  • ok, avoid the Danson area!! It's just taken my missus over 45 minutes to get from Welling to Bexleyheath. I would park a little way from the ground and walk.

Alternatively, you could park near Broadway in Bexleyheath and get the 96 bus towards Welling. Stops right outside the ground.

    Would love to, but I'm with a 2 year-old.

    Cheers for the advice, chaps.
