    Why are we playing a Gibraltar XI ? Do they not have a football team and we are playing a group of players from other teams or they have a team but are only putting a second string out ?

    Aren't England just a group of players from other teams?
    We did play a team called Lincoln in a Friendly a few years ago and they appear to be one of the Rock's top teams.

    Yes but they are called England not an England XI . I was just curious as to why Not just Gibraltar. XI normally indicates you are playing the stiffs.

    When you are a country you cant describe your team as the country unless you are playing another country and then I think it has to be a FIFA sanctioned game.
