Bit of perspective - not like he had Kermo in his pocket.

Cant believe anyone would pay a tenner to watch those teams.

Something to do on a hot evening and supporting a local non-league club in terms of tickets, drinks etc................wasn't a bad game, Bromley looked strong, to be fair and a nice little ground, will defiantly be popping down this season for a few mid week games after work.

Was the sending off due to yet another ref trying to make a name for himself??

A bit harsh for a friendly. Yes it could have been interpreted as leading with an elbow - but I was shocked when he pulled out the red card (so was Lennon). Thought it was going to be yellow. There were a few earlier tackles that were a bit strong and maybe the ref added a few things up. Ref was bit of a showman.

Not at all. Feely is not good enough, the other two just haven't performed.

    There's a difference.

Cue Feely knocking a free kick straight out for a goal kick, 30 yards from anybody

Forwards struggling to impress when constantly having a high ball lumped into them is a little different.

    Thanks for asking :-)

    what stupid comments

See below word for word what I commented last year....

1-0 great free kick from Bover I think. The number 5 centre half for us (is it Dervite?) Looks very accomplished on the ball....

So, why if I say something good about a player and it turns out to be right (believe Dervite played a few games after all for us last year) it's ok but the moment I make dare I say criticism and judgement based on the same criteria - ie in a select XI vs Bromley does it mean it's stupid? At the level we played last night, Feely is very far away from first team football. Dervite, as I commented looked very accomplished - and played first team football.

Feely is 21 in three weeks' time and I don't think he'll make it. That's my opinion.

Difference is that in the DD example you only said he looked very good.

If you had said Feely looked very poor (and I wasn't that impressed either) then it would have been comparable.

What people re-acted to was that you then went on to extrapolate from that one performance that Feely would never make it.

You maybe right, you maybe wrong but the two examples you gave are not like for like.

Dervite's not accomplished on the ball either.. 'Opinions', as you say

No, but he did look accomplished against Bromley, whereas Feely looked very awkward - hence my opinion he won't make it at Charlton, seeing as we are a top half Championship side currently...

only because of the alphabet ;)

Henry is spot on, you are allowed your opinion of course and I don't remember reading anyone saying Feely will make it. You are writing someone off after 1 game, something I have seen Ronaldo, Messi etc have. You could have just said he looked poor, plus you went on to contradict yourself, making you look a little silly in the process.
