    I like actresses like Alison Steadman, Lesley Sharp, (now she would be a good would ya) and Suranne Jones.

    Big fan of Sarah Parrish also.

    And not forgetting the great Alex Kingston... now Ian really really likes her.

    Anyone mentioned Holly Hunter? Really good actress but like the actor thread there are too many to name. As an older person can I throw in

    Barbara Stanwyck
    Lana Turner (great titties)
    Katherine Hepburn
    Grace Kelly (not a great actress but beautiful and if you believe the rumours very game)
    Eva Marie Saint who was the only actor to win an Oscar in their debut movie (On the Waterfront)

    To be fair her acting in the beginning of season 6 is (I think) the best of the entire series. Heartbreaking and so real. And let's be honest, she's hawt.
