should we be content to rely on Chrissy with only Grant Basey in the wings or should we recruit a loanee as cover. I'm not sure that Chrissy can play three games a week and no-one knows whether Basey can hack it yet at this level.

    I think we should look to get some cover in on loan, hence why Pardew was looking at Traore at Arsenal. Powell can't keep on playing 3 times a week that's for sure.

    Give Basey a chance to mix it up with Sir Chris. I've never seen him play, but that's the way I like to manage! Throw caution to the wind and see what he's made of. If he's as good as everyone says, he'll be fine at Championship level, where things are a little slower (albeit more physical).

    I say give Basey a chance. If we don't play him we'll never bloody know. He's had his loan period so should be ready.

    Give the lad a chance he could be a huge asset for the club. Semedo can play there.

    Bring Basey on as a sub first, ideally Saturday, then maybe play him on Tuesday.
