...against Boro in the 87th minute. Apparently. Well according to the BBC website anyway.

True, Did it actually happen? Didn't think Michael would take them?0 -
I must have been asleep when that happened!!0
-
Why have they got the Wendies above us?0
-
I assume because they have scored more goals.0

Have to admit the coverage by the BBC especially has been poor for the Football League these first two weeks:
(1) Last week they announced that people going to Southport v Luton should expect long traffic delays when the Conf. didnt start for another week
(2) When we were playing Bournemouth apparently it was at the Valley
I know we should be grateful for the BBC doing something like this but spend more money on our own lower leagues rather than text updates in Spain, France and Holland (I dont give a damn about those leagues!!)0 -
Wait, So we let Morrison take a really quick penalty? Why not let Jacko or someone like that take it?0
-
I can't believe he wrestled the ball from Yann to take the penalty. So unlike him, and as captain too. What a terrible example.0
-
Why did he think that back-heeling it would work?0
-
I agree, and failing to even reach the goal was pathetic.BlackForestReds said:Why did he think that back-heeling it would work?

Sadly yes, back-heeled with his wrong foot as well. Summed up the afternoon.POSLCAFC said:Did he actually take a penalty? Seriously?

So, We let Morrison back heel a penalty, That could've got us our first point of the season. Thats embarrassing to say the least.BlackForestReds said:

The club is a total shambles on the pitch as well as off_it.0

The way he grabbed the ball out of JJ's hands and pushed him aside you'd have thought that he he really wanted to take it. Mind you Hamer came up to the penalty box as well.POSLCAFC said:

Not only did he miss by backheeling with his wrong foot, but he almost tripped when he took his run-up backwards. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, to be honest.0
-
He shouldn't have shouted 'watch this' to the north lower beforehand tbh, setting himself up for a fall there0
-
just heard that CP has disciplined Morro and suspended him from The Valley for 2 weeks because of the way he took the pen. he has also disciplined Yann who jumped to the defence of his team mate during the arguement in the dressing room afterwards which is now being dubbed "ShitpenaltyGate". CP now wants Anton Ferdinand to come in and be a specialist pen taker.0
-
Least he took it before Hamer got up there, apparently he wanted to try and head it in.0
-
But talking of Hamer coming up for the pen, I don't know if anybody saw this, but Morrison pelted the ball at his head and shouted, 'You can f*ck off, an' all!' Just sums up the lack of camaraderie.0

Morro has left0

Been sent to Coventry (on loan).0

Off_it has his moments but to call him a shambles is harsh....Callumcafc said:The club is a total shambles on the pitch as well as off_it.
