leave it out, my local boys ;-)
  • Palace Ultras. Never been so scared in me life.

On a serious note, I assume Burnley is in reference to the cup game in the 90's?

I was sat in the Jimmy Seed as Burnley didn't take the whole end and it was a bit naughty but nothing like some of the Seventies games against the likes of Millwall and Chelsea.

my over-riding memory of Dagenham away was a whole section of the terrace joining in with us in renditions of the theme from Bullseye, as one member of this forum who shall remain nameless - was wearing what appeared to be an XXL Darts Shirt

    innnnnnnn one

Before the Burnley game the HG was a bit messy!!

Leeds at home in the FA Cup replay was nasty in the Jimmy Seed stand. They had the bottom and we had the top, HT was fun!

Dagenham in the West upper was funny! About 20 of them gave it the large thinking they were safe for HT to arrive and get fronted by about 50+Charlton!! Coppers words to the dagernham were "You have 2 choices 1,Leave Now 2,Go back to your seats and we will try to protect you! They took the first option!!!!

I was in the South that game, in the back bit, and a Burnley fan dropped his trousers and took a 3-minute piss right in the middle of the walkway.

Walsall away in the 70's.. Was that when we got there really early and walked into their end only to get run out at about ten to three???? Seemed to remember getting a clump and then leaping over the wall behind the goal. Seem to also recall we won 1-0 with Arthur Horsefield scoring.

that walsall game was a bit lively..there was a load of us down the side of the ground seperated from their fans by railings that didn't stop stuff flying both ways and another load obviously in their end where it kicked off big time...we were all about 18/19 i think (an average age about that time it always seemed) and they seemed to be all a lot older and up for it...
