    great read
  • I remember something vaguely, but more about joey B not playing soon after
  • Read that last night, funniest thing I have read for a long, long while.

Some great names there, Joey Beauchamp was a top player but very immature and could not settle outside his home environment of Oxford.
  • An amazing story, the fact he scored adds to the legend...

If Harry Redknapp was our manager I imagine GolfAddick would be getting a game every week.

I might dig my boots out when QPR come down to the Valley later this season then..............
  • Brilliant read, thanks for sharing.

This was a pre-season friendly though; so technically this doesn't apply does it? After all trialists can play in PSF's with no registration. I could well be wrong, but my gut reaction was the same as yours - and it was the only explanation I could come up with!

Might be the one time you'll be happy, Golfie.

Playing for QPR against Charlton. You could really do us a favour!

"I don't think me falling out with Sir Trev had anything to do with me not getting the England job"

So why do you mention it three times?

    Thank goodness for Sir Trevor.

There is book due out next year that a freind of mines Dad is ghosting. From what I have heard it is going to shake up things in our game big time. I can't say anymore but just remember you heard it here first.

"How to make your own money press - Michael Slater"?
  • I could understand it if this guy was giving him tips that were winning but if the guy kept giving losing tips, why would you keep giving him money and taking him out?

He seems rather bitter about not getting the England job!

Not sure its the most helpful timing with the key games coming up.

Not sure he really cares. For book sales and newspaper serialization its the idea time. If we don't make it to Brazil next week he will be high in everybodies mind to replace Roy and the public pressure maybe too much for the FA to ignore.
