    No...........snowing !!

  • Will CAFC do a £10 promo like Huddersfield have for tonight? If not is going to be the lowest league gate at the Valley in quite a while.

I'll be there. If we're not 3-0 up by half-time, I shall storm off with the right hump.

You'd hope the club could do something with pricing because a Tuesday night game a month before Christmas is going to be hard to justify for me, and a few others I'm sure.

Going to a Charlton game in general is pretty hard to justify these days....

But if you went to the abandoned game, the rearranged match will be free, surely...?

They will not do anything on pricing as the original tickets are still valid, so they would have to refund the difference if they sold tickets at a lower price.

Wasn't there. Did the club offer refunds for those with tickets to original match, or simply freebie for rearranged match? I've never been to a game that's been called off so have no idea how they manage these things. If it's a straight swap then appreciate there's probably sod all they can do with pricing since many people will have stumped up cash already.

    Freebie for the re-arranged game.

Club also need to be careful to give value for money to STH. They can't discount every unattractive game, with football for a fiver (or sixer!) also taking place once or twice a season. Needs to be an incentive to pay for the whole season - its not like the guarantee of a ticket is a persuasive factor!!

So you have to use Match voucher A in your ST booklet to get into the replayed game. Will you get that voucher back again to be used to for priority FA cup tickets if (heaven forbid) we go on a good run?

Best kept secret at The Valley. It's why all you hear from that part of the ground is a low moaning sound

Well we always play home mid week games on a Tuesday, with maybe one or two exceptions in the last thirty years and using up a cup Saturday or international Saturday is too logical. I think the League also want matches to be replayed as soon as possible. So more hope than expectation?
