At one stage during the second half Andy Reid laid a nice square ball on for him.

Reid passed to him twice. Amazed he didn't have to change it.

    Yes

Referees should be dressed in black and players kit would not be allowed to be predominatly black. I also mentioned it in the post match thread.

The ref couldn't wear black, green, yellow or red.

I'm sure that they must have had a light blue top?

The ref could have worn the grey one. It was a tad confusing. Despite which that purple ref shirt is pretty revolting. The salmon colour ref kit that had been for about 3 or 4 years is not much better.

after last night's performance. he is clearly a Forest supporter so I suppose he wanted to wear something as close to their kit as he could.
  • Yes I struggled, particularly with the linesman who I kept assuming was a free runner overlapping!!

Can't understand why they had to wear purple? They were in black, we were in red and the keepers have 2/3 kits to choose from these days as well.

Yes, it was too much like the Forest kit.

Thought he had a good game though.

Yes. Probably all right in the cold light of day but under the lights just too confusing.

Was talking to my brother about that if he wore yellow would of clashed with Hamer my brother suggested same top as he was wearing just yellow shorts as that would not of clashed with anyone

By the law of averages some referees must be gay. This one obviously was'nt, to allow such an obvious colour clash.

I thought Gower was marking the ref instead of Reid on one occasion, then I realised Reid had simply run away from him.

At one point I was looking for the ref to see what way he had given something, and I couldn't find him.

It didn't help that I was wearing one of my 3 for £10 Slazenger XXXL polo shirts from Sports Direct and it was the purple one and I was sitting right in line with Andy Reid on a number of occasions.
