So the point they make is we have plenty of English players to choose from...except they are rubbish English players.0

Haha yes agreed... but it's interesting to see how some Championship clubs (both of ours in fact) are playing so many (rubbish) English players.0

Players in our second division should be no where near the national side.0

Wiggins isnt English for starters0

Neither's Church for that matter0

Imagine if foreign players were banned a couple of years ago, and only English players could play in England - would the Premier League be largely made up of the players currently in Div 1? Would they be better players?Friend Or Defoe said:Players in our second division should be no where near the national side.

And what do us Millwall and Barnsley have in common for our combined 31 English players used last weekend...?
We're all near the bloody bottom!0 -

Strange question. I think a lot of premier league youth players would be getting games ahead of most of the championship, who knows or cares?JiMMy 85 said:

I thought it was an interesting question personally. I think at the top level foreigners can help English players, but it forces others down to a lower standard of football.Friend Or Defoe said:

Given Wiggins' & Church's birthplace, and the fact Pritch has lived here for more than 5 years and never been capped, you could say we fielded 14 EnglishmenHampshire_Addick said:

We need fewer Englishmen and more Bretons, mind you0
