Been searching the FL website in vain but anyone know when the 2014/15 season starts?

    No, I think the 2021-2022 season is going ahead as normal. It's the 2022-2023 season that is going to be cancelled and replaced by a series of 5-a-side tournaments so as to accomodate the Qatari's. They paid top dollar for the tournament after all - those hookers, handbags and FIFA delegates aren't cheap you know.

    For those planning weddings, holidays etc, assuming will are still a championship club.

    The 2014/15 Championship season will begin on Saturday, August 9th, the Football League confirmed on Friday morning.

    The date was announced following consultation with clubs and means the league kicks off a week later than this year due to next summer’s World Cup in Brazil, with the final scheduled to be played on July 13th in Rio de Janeiro.
