Classic interview response. Fred is being interviewed for a job he really wants. When asked by the interviewer what his biggest weakness is he replies ' honesty '. The interviewer tells him he doesn't think honesty is a weakness.
' I don't give a fuck what you think' says Fred.
Does he get the job or not?

My reply would be "If you are not totally honest, how would you know it wasn't a weakness"
ps. I don't think it's a weakness, but it takes some time for people to get used to.0 -
nah I would give to the Moroccan fella waiting0

I interviewed a fella once and gave him the big door opener of "tell me something you've done recently that you thought you did well or are proud of"
Fella was stumped and all he could say was "kept my job in a recession".
Ok. So why did they keep you when other people were being made redundant?
Because I'm cheap!
Haven't laughed so much in an interview situation before or since.0 -
Unfortunately not. I liked him, but there was another (more experienced) candidate we gave the job to.Kap10 said:@off_it did he get the job?
However, when I moved jobs myself a year or two later I walked in on my first day and my new desk was sat right next to him. Had a bit of a laugh about it all.
Always good to make sure you don't burn any bridges.0
