I don't reckon Tone or Slate's will be there either...0
-
with the train problems id imagine there will be about 300 there tonight0
-
How are the SE London/NW Kent gooners gonna get to the Emirates ?0
-
Yep. I was going tonight but as I can't get there from Gravesend i'm fooked. Presume it will be the same for everyone else in surrounding areasValleyGary said:with the train problems id imagine there will be about 300 there tonight

Can see a very low crowd now0
-
On the bright side, queues for a pie will be short. Oh wait...0

Not surprised at 6.07, I'm not leaving for another 15 mins :0)Elthamaddick said:Can see a very low crowd now

As a season ticket holder I am gutted that I won't be able to attend but will have to listen to the delightful Emma on Player. Only consolation is that the thermometer by the Florida pool is showing 83degrees0
-
We would have been there. Not now due to transport problems.0
-
North lower is so dead I can get on the internet.0
-
Official attendance 14,1400
-
Less than 10k in reality. No wonder they didn't announce it.Bedsaddick said:Official attendance 14,140

Was empty, think they all mistakenly went to the new ground0
-
Agreed - I thought there was a shade under 10,000 in the ground. I suspect that at least 1,500 or 2,000 were snookered by the train delays and cancellations.0
-
Same in the North lower. There must be some law of physics in operation at the Valley. The speed of service at the bar is indirectionally proportional to the size of the crowd.Athletico Charlton said:Longest queue for a half time point ever in North upper. Gave up.

I wouldn't be surprised if the turnstile count was under 9,000 - loads of empty seats in the north upper, which is usually the most packed.
I think the trains probably kept a couple of thousand away - I know of several who were stranded and gave up. Then you probably have people who couldn't get home from work in order to come back by car, etc.0 -
That's probably due to the idiots that they employ.JorgeCosta said:

Me: can I have a Bovril and a Kit Kat?
Him: A Bovril?
Me: Yes, a Bovril.
Him: Is that a beer?
Me: No, a Bovril.
Guy next to him points out the error of his ways. He eventually finds the Bovril cups before coming back.
Him: What else was it you wanted?

The trains were up the spout. Went to Cahring cross from work and no trains so had to get a bus - and was late. Didn't miss our goal though
