Who said we don't want to admit it. I thought we all admitted it0

Unbelievable heel-flick. Miss his unpredictability big time!0
-
Would've loved to have kept him. Has been a BIG miss up front this season. Games like today he might've won us a point or three out of nothing.0
-
we miss fuller big big time!!0
-
Yes we do miss him0
-
Great player. Too inconsistent and too much of an ego at the best of times though. Having said that I would take the rough with the smooth to have him back right now.0
-
We all admit it but the club would accept his pay demand.0
-
One of the best players we have had in years, along with Yann and Solly. Loved watching him play.0

That's been pretty standard for me everywhere I've ever sat at the Valley. A few years ago, some foolbag a few rows behind me in the covered end screamed dogs abuse at David Whyte for a good five minutes. It was nonsense, vitriolic stupidity of the highest order - rendered even more foolish by the fact that the target of his said abuse was actually Paul Mortimer...MSE7 said:

We do have far more than our fair share of bellends following us.

Too much of an ego? He was a very popular with the other players.Huskaris said:Great player. Too inconsistent and too much of an ego at the best of times though. Having said that I would take the rough with the smooth to have him back right now.
It came down to our lack of cash, not his personality traits or ability.2 -
Fair enough but you could see how negative he was by his body language and the shouts he gave to players at times. I'll never forget when he slapped his captain too!! (At villa I think it was)Valley11 said:

Thing is .. he's gone and he aint coming back .. we could not offer him what he wanted so like many others, he left0
-
The skill he did yesterday against Sheff Wed was class.0
-
Peterborough last season was heading for 0-0 then he scored a worldy, The amount of times this season we could of done with something like that when we did not look like scoring. yesterday was a prime example0
-
He wanted to stay. The club offered him something, which was insulting.0

Ha. Decent performances that won us games, and played a part in finishing higher. Could of done, with one of those on Saturday, wouldn't you agree?Leroy Ambrose said:_nam11 said:He wanted to stay. The club offered him something, which was

When he was on his game, his performances were more than 'decent' - he was unplayable at times.
We now have Marvin Sordell who simply cannot play.0 -

Could HAVE done with one, yes. But roll the dice on that eh? 46 games - 5 decent performances. Odds are yesterday wouldn't have been one of them - even if he was fit. Just because he played well for Blackpool yesterday, doesn't mean he would have for us. A club that would currently appear not to have a pot to piss in can ill afford someone of Fuller's wages, injury record and lack of consistency.0
-
I haven't seen how Rico played yesterday, so cannot comment.
I think he'd make a difference to our squad, but that's just me.
You seem to know his wage amount when he was here? Please enlighten me, what you believe his wages were...0 -
Has Fuller already scored more goals for Blackpool this season than he did for us in a full season?0
-
Mendonca,
5 in 20 (11 sub) for us last year
4 in 14 (0 sub) for Blackpool so far...
Not bad going, for a 34 year old sick note IMO.0 -
Thanks Nam, not bad stats, every time Fuller got revved up and going for us he seemed to pick up an injury which was sad for him and us, not seen a player in a charlton shirt ghosting past the opposition for fun since Paolo & Claus.0

I agree mate. Was unlucky through injury, but he was rushed back a bit too quickly a couple of times. Which I think SCP admitted.
If I remember he was a contender for mom for both Watford games, Ipswich away, and the magic against P'boro.
12 points gained?0
