The acv has not affected the takeover as it is not worth the paper it is written on.0

Well there is another stall down at the ground on Saturday, if people would like to discuss or register a yes or a no to this.
I will be there, along with the other members of the trust. People have claimed to not have known about the ACV?, so local papers? Charlton Live,( which I myself made 2 appearances on) BBC London Radio and TV, a presence at most supporters groups, over the past year or so etc etc.......
We had the last TNT news given out free to all supporters in various parts of the ground, and in local public houses?, explaining the full details of ACV.
We also canvassed local MPS, councillors, the Mayor of London, The FA, to name a few...... who all supported the application, and spoke warmly towards CAFC. Not forgetting the club supporting this.
When ACV was announced, the delay was caused by RBG, not the trust as others have posted.

I heard from 2 sources that the real reason Mr Harris walked away was because of a basic understanding of football in this country - or rather a lack of it.
If you are used to the concept of US sport where you can't be relegated - and you then come and pump in a shed load of cash to a club over here to find you could actually lose the lot.....you'd get a squeaky bum. It's possible.1 -
So thats what Josh Harris found out after completing DD teams can be relegated, so he pulled out lol. A multi Billionaire who prob has a shit load of employees and not one of them done any research about English football.1

Quite likely. As yet there's no evidence that an average Premier League Club can build a sustainable business model which generates regular free cash flow. It really isn't obvious that the Americans get this. Let's be honest the current set up with English Football is insane. Any relegation can almost destroy a club. The current TV deal makes relegation from the Championship to League One a potential disaster. Look at Sheffield United, they were in the Premier League with us in 2007. Relegation from the Premier League (which is virtually inevitable for many of the clubs in it) will leave one year to get back or potential oblivion.
No business model can plan for the significant reduction in income that relegation brings unless relegation is planed for in such a way that it becomes inevitable.
It makes sense to me that the relegation issue (especially with us being so close to the bottom three right now) could have scared off a foreign investor. If we are relegated and all those players out of contract leave (refuse to stay) then we could be in the third division for a decade. As much as we take it for granted now, the building of the squad that won us promotion in 2010 was a magnificent achievement. To do it on such a small budget just enhances that achievement. There is no guarantee that we would be able to perform that miracle again, and then the new owners could own a third division club with no real expectation of getting promoted any time soon.2 -

A GREENWICH councillor has questioned why the current owners of Charlton Athletic are so reluctant to communicate with the club’s fans.
The Addicks have been strongly rumoured to be on the brink of a takeover, although it was reported yesterday one potential saviour of the financially stricken SE7 outfit, American Josh Harris, had ended his interest in buying the club.
But it is the lack of information coming out of The Valley, including over whether Charlton plan to remain at the stadium in the long-term, which has prompted Woolwich Riverside Councillor John Fahy to enter the debate.
Earlier this week he tweeted: “When is Charlton Athletic going to come clean on it future plans for the club.
“Important for the board to clarify the future of The Valley.”
Explaining his remarks to News Shopper, Cllr Fahy said: “I’ve had some representation from constituents at surgeries about what is happening with regards to the ownership of Charlton.
“I gather from what I’ve heard there is more than one interested party, one supposedly a property developer.
“There seems to be a lot of discussions taking place in secret but very little of it is being revealed in public.
“Clearly the fans are not being kept informed by the owners about what is going on and that is completely unacceptable.”
He added: “There is a strong fan-base at The Valley so why not keep them informed?
“The wider issue for me is that football clubs, including Charlton, are treating fans with contempt.
“They rely heavily on the fans for income but offer little in return in terms of information about what is going on. It isn’t helpful.”
And the Labour councillor, who is also an Addicks fan, is now backing the recently established Charlton Athletic Supporters Trust to play a more prominent future role behind the scenes at The Valley.
“I would certainly support what the Supporters Trust are doing,” he said.
“The only long-term solution is for the club to be taken over by people who have the best interests of Charlton Athletic at heart.”
