If we put a banner up saying something like "Help out Chris Powell! Sell up!!" would that get the message through? or am I getting a bit over exited?

Im not too upset about not buying anyone, but the fact that the board forced Powell to let go of Haynes, Waggy and of course Ricardo Fuller that annoyed me. It was stupid at the time and is biting us back hard now.

Think they are desperately trying to sell, problem is how much they'll take and what financial skeletons are in the closet.
  • They wouldn't see it, they're never there

Even so, wouldn't it attract publicity?

  • How about a banner reading" Back To Coaching School"
  • Get one that says 'cant score, can't defend, can't sell'

What about a banner saying "BIG ROB IS OUR LEADER"?

I think that could knock the players confidence, better to leave them out of it.

I'm sure a banner will change things hugely...

They want to sell, no one is buying.

Something is only worth what people are wiling to pay for it, not you want.

True, but will a banner change their valuation? I don't think so.

It may make a takeover more unlikely because outside investors will see the fans turning on the owners and offer less to take it off their hands.
