What else can any supporter do ? Would love it if he turned into a player as good as KMG.Chris_from_Sidcup said:vff said:A Standard Liege poster on ITTV says that Ajdarevic is a left midfield player lacking a bit of pace. Not played much. I think we have one of those already. Will give him a chance of course but am not excited by this loan.
How very decent of you.
The way you posted was as though you've already decided he's sh*t but you'll give it a couple of games before you boo him
Thats not true at all. I always give players a chance. I think it is healthy to have a balanced view and not get too carried away. Complaints from other Duchelet clubs is that they have ended up with other loan players who have not added much. Happy to be proven that he is a decent player. I wish Ajdarevic every good luck.
For the record, I have never booed a charlton player or would ever dream of doing it. The only people I ever have a go at is the referee.
The Iranian player looks a bit more of a prospect.

wouldn't be a bad trio imo, not that I know much about them but stat wise and youtube wise they seem ok0
-
Well we're three points above the drop and have scored less than one goal per game we've played. Duchatelet can't afford to see us get relegated so if Standard Liege have a surplus to requirements striker it would be madness not to loan him to us. Wouldn't it ?0

Dudu briton looks exactly what we need tbf0

Better than no one
Give the lad a chance ffs0 -
Never looked at clips of new players as i said not accurate reflection even pritchard has had a good game in a CAFC shirtRedChaser said:Agreed, so you hadn't looked at it first then.

Only cost about £30 to get him on the back of your shirt..0

Powell will have known we were losing Stewart and would have seen who we could get in quick from Liege and knew the player. I'd be very surprised if he didn't want him. There wasn't any others quickly brought in with him, which suggests this is the case. After a bit of research Chrissy may fancy somebody else from Liege I would imagine, but I'm sure he has some control.0

Could be the new Salim Kerkar, or the new Johnnie Jackson/ Andy Reid, lacking pace, but oozing class, stay open minded people.2

I'm gonna go for the Standard Liege link being the key :-)sirjohnhumphrey said:I think the Leicester link is the key in this and nothing else.

Don't get carried away with Iranians etc. We often seem to pick the guys that can't get work permits in the UK: Alex, Christian Bolanos and a contingent from the Ivory Coast spring to mind.0

Exactly and let's not take the "lack of pace" comment as a given. As far as I can tell, that was one fan's opinion....I have heard Green described as "pacy" by at least one person on here. If he's good enough, we'll see him in action soon enough.Mendonca In Asdas said:Could be the new Salim Kerkar, or the new Johnnie Jackson/ Andy Reid, lacking pace, but oozing class, stay open minded people.

He's been playing in Belgium for a good number of years now though so a work permit shouldnt be an issue (I hope anyway) - Strange that he wouldnt be the first Iranian to play for us, although if Powell does have the final say I wonder if he'll say thanks but no thanks based on the amount of time Bagheri was away (As Powell will have played with him in training during his spell with us)Bangkokaddick said:Don't get carried away with Iranians etc. We often seem to pick the guys that can't get work permits in the UK: Alex, Christian Bolanos and a contingent from the Ivory Coast spring to mind.

It would be madness for us to loan a striker who is not surplus to requirements to Wimbledon, wouldn't it ?ShootersHillGuru said:Well we're three points above the drop and have scored less than one goal per game we've played. Biton and Reza look to have decent goal scoring records at previous club's. Not sure what level they've played at compared to the Championship but as they'll be free it's worth a go.0

Don't know how it affects the grand scheme of things, but Reza Ghoochannejhad has played international football at U16-U19 for Netherlands, so that could help any work permit applications?Bangkokaddick said:Don't get carried away with Iranians etc. We often seem to pick the guys that can't get work permits in the UK: Alex, Christian Bolanos and a contingent from the Ivory Coast spring to mind.

He looks a big lad but if he tries to pass the ball like that at home on our pitch he'll soon come unstuck :P

I hope he isn't going to do that saluting thing. He looks like a member of village people.1
-
He's only going to do it to celebrate scoring - in which case he can do it every match, WMTicket!1
-
So he's an ardent Barca fan and probably would have loved to have played for them as did his fellow Swede, Zlatan.
Maybe we could have a 'Are you Zlatan in disguise' song (if he's any good) just to settle him in and make him feel world class, lol.
So who's going to be first to invite him as a Facebook friend?
https://en-gb.facebook.com/pages/Astrit-Ajdarevic/141712199196752
and a little indication of his footballing views from seeinghis 'likes'
https://www.facebook.com/DissRealMadrid
That site makes us appear almost chummy with our scummy not far away enough, lesser neighbours.
Come on Astrit lad, show your passion for the Addicks and post a pic on your page of you in your new clubs colours!0 -
