Not everyone's thats for sure, I wouldn't want him back although he's probably better than Church in the goal scoring dept. A Mendonca Mark 2 would do nicelymid_life_crisis said:Alan Judge on loan from Blackburn would be nice.
And everyone's favourite Obika on a permanent please.0 -
Forget obika. Get dudu in!1

Praise indeed.3 -
The new owner has given SCP a list of players he can choose from and it's just been leaked here;
Chris Powell's transfer list3 -
Would be concerned if we got Dudu, just from his record and reports from SL. Can't imagine CP would be thrilled and it would confirm what other Duchalet club supporters have said about pointless loans from inside his network.0

Don't want Dudu, Reza sounds decent though as does Ozturk.1

To be honest all I feel that we need is a Le Fondre up front, we have a left sided winger on loan but if we secure Stewart on a permanent basis that would be great aswell. Sighn another CB for good measure. I think that it is better that we invest in our academy more for the long term as too many signings can have a detrimental effect. If we get 3 very good signings and renew all contracts (including, of course SCP) that would keep me very happy. Im being a little optimistic but could we try and get Zaha on loan? Any thoughts anyone?0

We won't get ALF. Too much money. We need some quality in or we could easily get relegated. If it takes loans from wherever that provide that quality I'm easy with that. The summer will be the really important time.0

Except there is something not quite right about ALFs position at Reading; it looks very much like Adkins doesn't rate him - maybe he can bang them in but his overall team and approach play doesn't match that. On that basis, and given they are still relatively wealthy, they might be up to letting us have him on loan until the end of the season. We can probably handle his wages now. After all, we are unlikely to be competing with Reading for a play off spot and him in our side could damage some of their play-off competitors.ShootersHillGuru said:We won't get ALF. Too much money. Le fondre doesnt give much outside of 12 yards. I dont think he would suit our style at the moment at all actually. He is a kwolity finisher in and around the 6 yard box but his workrate isnt the greatest. Dont see us creating chances...we need a fuller-type who can push defences back and occupy CBs
i rate ALF but not in this.addicks team no way0 -
Not sure if he's what we need. I'd rather a striker that will run at his man and create his own chances, we don't create enough chances for a poacher like Le Fondre to be prolific.

our squad only needs a good striker and an midfielder maybe. we finished 9th last season so if we can get going and bang a few more goals in we will be doing good.0
-
We need contracts sorted before anything0

Doesn't look like ozturk will be coming our way , been told he has put on his Facebook that he "won't be lent to England "0

Just heard this myself.0

"Best friends and supporters thank you for all the lovely messages about my future but I will only be able to answer all your questions tomorrow night ... Thank you all"0

just in a belgian paper
The midfielder Standard Liege Özturk Alpaslan, will leave the burning city during the winter transfer window.
Turkish International U20 is expected this Sunday at Charlton will sign a loan of 6 months without a purchase option. Division 2 English club Charlton belongs to Roland Duchatelet who is also the chairman of Standard Liege. Duchatelet wishes to strengthen its team with new elements with little playing time Sclessin.0 -

Ozturk deal off apparently -0
-
Well even though we might be getting one less player in, does this mean that it looks like we do have a say in who we get in and roland is not just transferring them in willy nilly?1
-
if the Reza Ghoochannejhad deal goes through idea of a chant to the tune of "daddy cool"
"ooooo reva Ghoo, reva o reva ghoo" just a thought

given that we have Solly and Wilson, I don't think we needed Ozturk amyway. This Ghoochannejhad is a different matter - could be useful. He looks like a bit of a poacher.

@GFN_France: According to @walfoot, Standard goalkeeper Yohann Thuram is set for a January loan move. Charlton or a club in France. #CAFC1
