Don't think les has the ACTUAL team, but an overall role there.

If they beat Southampton, it's Arsenal at home in the 5th round.

Great win...well done lads. Really pleased to see us doing well in this consistently over the last few years. Only bodes well...if we can keep hold of them...for the future!!

Paul Hart can take a lot of credit for the work he is doing with the youngsters. Quality coach. We are lucky to have him.
Everybody always points out what a great job Hart is doing. But they forget it is Steve Avory who has a big influence on training etc. He is a very good coach.

  • That was a cracking game - Charlton should have won by more than one goal. Technique of all the players was impressive - lots of passing mixed with the occasional long ball forward. It was good to see the players trying difficult moves and the coaching staff being pretty relaxed if they didn't come off. Players who impressed me? I liked the look of Kalan Ahearn-Grant - looked very comfortable on the ball and was always looking to make things happen. I also thought Terrell Thomas at centre half looked good, not only in the traditional defensive sense but also in carrying the ball out of defense. Not sure any are quite ready to step up just yet - but a talented group all the same - if any of you get a chance to pop along and see the team you should take it.
  • Great result for the lads & their management staff.

    Well done to all concerned.

Thanks for the report, John. Good stuff.

Steve Avory used to be my old sports teacher at Hurstmere School, Sidcup. We always had a decent football team in my year.
