Same as Murty and a large number of their recent players, would rarely have happened in the 50s-90s.

The decline in Scottish football is astounding, hard to believe but true that all of the 1968 Lisbon Lions were born and raised within 30 miles of Parkhead.

I would imagine the same would have largely been true of the Rangers teams that reached European finals.

I assume Jock Campbell was in fact a Jock.

Didn't he take out a Turkish murderer in a match on tour once?
  • I'm sure there was a Jack Kennedy, inside forward in the early sixties, played a couple of games.

    I still can't believe Cameron Stewart isn't Scottish !

Didn't John Robinson only play for Wales because he was born in Zimbabwe to Scottish parents but because he was a British citizen (through his parents) but not born in any of the Home Countries he could represent any of them ?
  • I seem to remember Charlie Macdonald getting called up for the Scottish under 21 squad, not sure if he got capped. Can anyone confirm this?

We actually brought him from Celtic but he joined St Mirren after leaving us.
