    To me though Ladyland was it......album wise...... This was Jimi's album , not put together by Chas, or some record company executive.

    BOG: still light years ahead as a live album for any guitarist in my book. People still cannot capture that univibe sound he used with the crybaby, fuzzface.
    And there enough people trying to reproduce it, even SRV a brillant guitarist, just does not sound like jimi, and he would be the first to admit it?

    Just listened to Bold as Love, superb track. I hadn't heard that one before actually, don't have that album unfortunately. Sometimes I doubt whether Jimi is as good as people say then I listen to something like that.

    Just played "Rainbow Bridge". The best piece of instrumental I might have heard. I bet he has loads of undiscovered gems of music.
