But even I know that to use a dongle on business pc to overcome such an issue wouldn't work due to security settings otherwise the pc could be very exposed to virus and hacking

The comms team would use dongles to upload content from their laptops at away matches, so not sure this stands up. I'd assume there would probably be issues with the size of this file, however.

No doubt the next excuse we get will be about somebody pouring quick dry cement into the comms room or something ridiculous like that.

Can you imagine if we were at home on Saturday and alongside this they would have had to knock out a programme in two days ? Poor ol Jimmy and Olly would have needed a gallon of Red Bull, 5 grams of coke and a dedicated Samaritans team to help them through !

In fairness to the Comms team, there are problems with the internet today. I get the impression from our IT people that it's a SE London issue

The name of this thread should definitely be changed to 'Meet the bored!' I am so bored of hitting the refresh button. With the clubs recent communication record not good it's not covering itself in glory again now. It may well be down to technical problems but you shouldn't make rash promises that you are unable to deliver. And even if there are significant internet issues surely someone could upload the damn thing for them? It's surely not rocket science.

Make it the message we hear when ringing the Club a la the current SCP one...

That'd make enough to buy a striker !

just had a tweet that the hold up is the new signing announcement of Adi NoOneHasEverHerdOfKokKokArseKOk a striker from SLs 4th team. Seems it was between us and welling reserves who he went to.
